How to get Superbrands recognition?

Participation in Superbrands programmes is strictly by invitation only. Eligible brands are identified by an independent consumer survey or evaluated by an expert panel of marketing, advertising and branding professionals.

Selection of Superbrands

 Selection of all Superbrands happens at two levels for selecting the Superbrands which involves both a consumer feedback mechanism as well as that of an expert panel. (Also known as the Brand Council).

The perceptions of the Consumers and Expert Panels views will be sought on the following criteria in relation to individual brands:-
1.    Quality: does the brand stand for quality products or services.
2.    Reliability: can the brand be trusted to consistently deliver on its promise.
3.    Distinction: Is it well known in its field and is it unique to competitors.

Premium Beautiful was selected because it is able to demonstrate the three key brand attributes, which are quality, trust and distinction. 

A comprehensive market research study is carried out amongst 550 brands in the region in order to asses the strength of the brand as perceived by the consumer.  The top performing brands from the council study and expert panel of eminent business, marketing professionals and enterpreneurs is then forwarded to the consumers. The ratings from the consumer research (conducted by TNS RMS) and the Brand Council are then merged to create the consolidated list of Superbrands.

Consumers look at brands from a layman's point of view. In that, he or she does not understand the technicalities pertaining to branding. An expert panel with a business orientated view would perceive the same brand somewhat differently. The approach being adopted by Superbrands therefore integrates consumer insights and an expert panel view through a two-step approach.

Consumer's Perception Towards Superbrands

In the recent survey conducted by The Nielsen Company to investigate what Malaysia's consumer felt about Superbrands, respondents demonstrated even stronger positive perceptions towards Superbrands*.

• High Awareness : 77% of consumers were aware of Superbrands (increased from 70%)

• Good Reputation : 73% of consumers think that brands associated with Superbrands have a good reputation (increased from 60%)

• Quality Products : 63% of consumers think that the brand must be a better quality brand compared to other brands in the same category. (new)

• Consumer Confidence : Almost 60% of consumers feel more confident about buying the product/service associated with Superbrands. (increased from almost 50%)

• Purchasing Power : 84% of consumers are much more likely or more likely to buy a Superbrand. (Increased from 80%)

• Recommendation : 76% of consumers are much  more or more likely to recommend a Superbrand to friends and family. (increased from 74%)

• Brand Trust : 60% of consumers think Superbrands are trustworthy brands. (increased from 51%)

• Try New Products : 81% of consumers are more likely to try a new product if the brand is assocated with Superbrands. (new)

2012..year like no other

Assalamualaikum,

Tahun 2012 telah pun berakhir. Saya mencari cerita kejayaan saya yang mahu diingati sampai mati.

Semalaman saya fikir,

Semalaman korek cerita-cerita tahun 2012 untuk dibanggakan.

2012 adalah tahun yang amat bermakna bagi saya & keluarga.
I called 2012 as year of change.

As new mom

Awal tahun 2012 adalah saat yang dinantikan oleh saya & hubby selama 18 bulan sejak perkahwinan kami. 

Pada tanggal 18 February, Adam dilahir di kala fajar baru menyingsing. 

Adam Irfan adalah permata hati, pelengkap cinta kami.

Adam - Hari pertama celik mata di dunia

Saya menghabiskan tempoh berpantang saya di Bintulu saja. Tak balik kampung macam kebanyakkan orang lain yang melahirkan anak sulung. Saya & hubby bersepakat tak nak berpisah, biarlah susah senang kami tempuhi bersama. Hubby saya taknak ketinggalan satu detik pun membesarkan Adam. 

Memang mencabar berpantang sendiri. Minggu pertama, kami kalut taktau nak buat apa. Routine berpantang semua tunggang langgang.

Nasib baik mama & abah datang Bintulu selama seminggu untuk uruskan saya. Masa tu la baru nak bertungku, berurut..haihh. 

Kena la bebel dengan mama.

 Lepas mama & abah balik, adik ipar saya datang untuk tolong uruskan rumah & masak untuk kami selama sebulan. Ringan la sikit beban. 

Bab baby semua saya yang uruskan sendiri.

Pengalaman berpantang sendiri sangat bermakna dalam hidup saya. mengajar saya tentang susah senang membesarkan seorang anak. 

Saat itu saya baru tersedar betapa besarnya kasih sayang ibu bapa terhadap anaknya.

Betul la ayah mertua selalu cakap kat hubby 

"nanti ada anak, baru kau tahu macam mana orang tua sayangkan anak"

Masa hari lahir saya ke-21, mama post hadiah ke UTP bersama secebis ucapan,

As new technologist

Bulan January, saya di pindahkan ke section lain. 

Dahulu saya adalah Process Safety (PS) Engineer selama 4 tahun. Tahun 2011 adalah kemuncak kerjaya saya sebagai PS engineer. Berkat hasil usaha & kerja keras saya & team telah menaikkan prestasi section kami di MLNG. 

Untuk pergi lebih jauh dalam bidang saya perlu berhijrah. 

Perlu memantapkan lagi technical skill, basic on process & chemical engineering. Jadi saya di tukarkan ke section lain sebagai technologist.

This is very challenging for me. Hampir 5 tahun, saya abaikan ijazah saya sebagai chemical engineer. 4 years, i never use any formula & teory though by my lecturer in UTP.

Nervous, takut, tak confident, tak minat & macam-macam perkataan negative dalam kepala saya.

Saya terpaksa keluar dari confort zone saya, bidang yang saya suka "management" & tukar skill yang saya dah master kepada technical skill yang masih teraba-raba.

Masa tu saya tengah sarat mengandung, ada 1 month gap untuk saya settle down kat tempat baru, tanggungjawab baru.

 Akhirnya saya bulatkan hati, 

"i must give it a try!" 

Saya cakap setiap hari pada diri saya..

"i know i can do it.."

1st day, saya jumpa head of department. I confessed everything.

 I said to him "i promise i will do my best. I will never stop learning & please guide me."

To start a new thing is not easy. I know i need good leader to guide me.

Saya percaya Allah telah mentakdirkan sesuatu yang baik untuk saya dan saya harus terimanya dengan hati terbuka.

Lepas bersalin, saya mula berkerja di tempat baru. Progress saya sgt slow masa tu. Baru nak belajar pi system, baru nak belajar equation & advance excel, baru nak paham icon. Ohhh...

Tapi saya sabar belajar satu-satu. Untungnya saya, dapat boss/leader yang sangat baik. He is an Australian. Dia yang bertangjung jawab meletakkan minat saya kepada kerja saya. And i did well. Saya mula rasa excited nak belajar benda baru. Saya tak sabar nak tahu lebih banyak pasal process.

As business women

Masa dalam pantang, bila routine dah established. Baru la saya punya sedikit masa untuk ber FB. Oleh kerana saya amat jarang online (sebab saya terpaksa online dgn laptop- takde iphone lagi masa tu)

Saya akan cari beberapa orang yang saya suka nak tengok saja. 

One of them is Naa Kamaruddin. =)

Saya tengok dia selalu update tentang meeting with client & business partner, pasal nak cantik & kurus.

Saya pelik & rasa nak tahu lagi detail. Then i called her.

Dari situ la saya tau pasal PB. 

Memang kebetulan saya tengah cari corset untuk kuruskan badan lepas bersalin. I know the product also offering business oppurtunity. 

Naa explained everything pasal business pulak.

 I & hubby asked her question by question, mintak documents, mintak facts.

After convinced by her explanation thru phone.

my hubby asked me "u confident ke bleh jual corset tu?"

Immediately I said "i confident !"  

Betol masa tu memang takde ragu-ragu.

The following week i got my own PB set to wear & several set to sell. Cara-cara nak ukur & pakai pun Naa ajar thru phone. (kitrg tak pernah face to face lagi). 

1st time i wearing my PB is the same day i return to office after maternity leave. Wahh.. balik office dgn confident la.. hehe

When i am wearing PB to office, ramai orangg tegur cakap slim & they know saya baru balik dari berpantang, ramai yang terkejut tengok pinggang saya yang ramping. 

Seriously.. kebanyakkan orang yg tegur adalah kakak secretary & clerk yang dah beranak 2-3 orang. Ada yang tak pernah tegur pun sebelom ni, jadi ramah & bersembang bila bertembung.

Then i start promoting the PB to my friends. Sekejap je dah terjual beberapa set pada bulan kedua & seterusnya.

Business ganggu kerja saya? Tak langsung. Sebab saya tak perlu cakap banyak. Diorag sendiri nampak perubahan diri saya. Saya promote dalam FB & blog. Further explaination & measurement saya buat after office hour atau weekend.

Life more interesting now.. i have 2 source of income. 1st bonus saya RM4500 bulan Mei. Dalam masa 4 bulan, saya dah cover balik modal saya.  Genap 5 bulan, saya berjaya jual semua set PB saya. Bulan Sept saya naik pangkat dengan sale RM60,000.00 sebulan =)

My life as 3 different new roles.

Ketiga-tiga peranan ni saya dapat almost at the same quater.

why i am doing this?

Because all these came to me. 

To be a mother is a blessing, 

To become technologist is the key to higher career level & 

the business is the opportunity that i wont let it go.

I can say i DON'T want to move to other section, because i am best at management.

I can say NO to business opportunity, because i had enough money for my family.

But what i see in these things is the oppurtunity to grow & challenge myself.

and today i can say that 

"i glad i did it & i nailed it"

End of 2012

Hidup ini tak lekang dari cabaran. Hujung 2012, in Nov. I resigned from being technologist of big company. 

A life decision yang sangat besar. Every time i said the word "resigned", bergetar dada sampai hari ni.

Me & hubby, we need to move on. We have other priority in our life.

Allah dah menulis takdir hidup kami.

We have to let go our house in Bintulu, start a fresh start in Miri.

Saya jadi surirumah sepenuh masa. Bayangkan saya dengan hectic life beberapa bulan yang lepas, sedang membina nama dalam career saya. Tiba-tiba tak berkerja & menjaga anak sepenuh masa. How it feel?

Syukur, syukur syukur... syukur saya ada business ni. Alhamdulillah. 

Ketika kami terpaksa buat keputusan untuk berhenti, satu benda yang meringankan beban hati kami.. adalah business ni. Saya masih ada income untuk memberi wang saku bulanan untuk mama & abah dikampung & tolong adik-adik saya melengkapkan hidup mereka. 

Saya tak pernah terfikir situasi seperti sekarang akan terjadi, ketika saya bercakap dengan Naa tentang peluang berniaga ni, ketika saya pakai PB setiap hari pegi kerja, saya tak pernah terlintas yang satu hari saya akan kehilangan kerja tersebut.

Allah itu Maha Mengetahui.. Allah hu Akbar.

Summary of 2012

I have achieve a lot of personal goals as well as team goal.

I have grow to be a stronger person, much stronger than before. 

2012 is the best year for me. 

To be a mother to a cute & charming little boy , Adam, to be better wife to my lovely & supportive husband & at the same time i am a 

successful businesswomen.. like my dream come true. 

Dalam hidup kita, cabaran & peluang datang selalu..

It is depend to us how we deal with it. 

Sambut la kedua-duanya dengan hati yang terbuka & fikiran yang positive. 

Percayakan diri sendiri, & be confident. Kalau kita tak pandai, kita mesti willing to learn dari sesiapa sahaja. 

Jangan lupa, sentiasa berdoa kepada yang Maha Agung. 

Kerana Dia lah sebaik-baik tempat untuk meminta.

My Apartment

My very first home

Malam Khamis lepas, saya bersengkang mata kerana mahu menyaksikan session finale The Apartment Syle Edition TV series. My favourite show yang saya takkan miss setiap minggu dari episode pertama. 

Siapa yang tak pernah tengok this show, here is the summary;

Eight couples/group must design, decorate & create 9 rooms of apartment and turn them to become the most fabulous & fashionable living space. They are given amount of money & time frame to spent for the rooms and guided by well know designer Jamie Durie. Each design & final touch will be evaluated by expert jugding panel, including godfather of design TV as the lead judge, Laurance Llewelyn Bowen. 

Saya memang minat sangat interior design. Cita-cita saya dari kecil. hehe.. 

Jeles betol saya tengok contestants yang masuk competition ni. 

They got great opportunity to learn from the famous & well known interior designer master, dapat duit lagi untuk shopping furniture yang sangat lawa & glamor & the best is the grand price ..winning a brand new luxury apartment THE VOE - KL. 

Oklah enough with the reality TV show. 

Back to my reality life, i have my own apartment at Kajang.

My very first home.

I bought the apartment unit since my 1st year working. Never thougtht i would buy a house that time. Ye lah awal-awal kerja dulu dengan gaji RM2500, baru nak merasa pegang duit sendiri, banyak impian time study dulu belum tercapai, banyak tempat nak pegi melancong, teringin handbags, shoe, baju-baju cantik, pakai skin care yang mahal sket.... the list is soo long. 

Biasa la perempuan. 

One day, saya balik jumpe parents. Masa tu my parents baru dapat transfer ke KL, HQ Agro Bank & menyewa kat Serdang (5 minit dari Mines shopping complex).

Tiba-tiba, mama bagi saya beberapa broucher
 rumah & apartment sekitar Selangor. 

"Kaklong tak mau beli rumah? Ramai budak-budak baru kat tempat kerja mama tengah beli rumah sekarang ni".

Terkedu saya. Dalam hati Ya Allah beratnya. Saya tak pernah dengar lagi kawan-kawan satu office dengan saya dah start beli rumah. Masing-masing sibuk beli kereta & enjoy dulu. 

Saya minta tempoh untuk berfikir.

Memang saya mengaku, rumah sewa yang mama duduk tu tak berapa selesa. Saya yang kadang-kadang balik pun rasa tak best, apatah lagi mama & abah yang duduk tiap-tiap hari. Rumah sewa teres 2 tingkat tu, half furnished, tinggalan orang. Harga sewa murah, tu je yg abah mampu masa tu. 

Kesian kat mama & abah. 

Akhirnya saya setuju. Saya fikir, biarlah mama abah hidup selesa sikit di sana. Adik-adik saya pun sekolah sekitar KL-Selangor. 

So bab pilih rumah & lokasi saya serah bulat-bulat kat mama & abah. Diorang juga yang settled kan urusan peguam & pembelian rumah. Saya cuma signed agreement & bayar bulan-bulan. 

Alhamdulillah, urusan beli rumah dipermudahkan. Saya dapat full loan lagi masa tu. 

Dalam masa setahun lebih rumah saya siap sepenuhnya.

yeayy..!! Im so excited. 

For the 1st time i will be able to decorate my OWN HOUSE!

Complete with swimming pool, play ground for kids, surau, security & maintenance service. 

Duit gaji kumpul sikit-sikit untuk beli perabot. Beberapa bulan sebelum pindah masuk saya dah siapkan design setiap bilik. Budget ciput je, takleh nak lavish sgt.. so kene betol-betol plan segala benda. 

Oh ya.. saya cuma ada 2 hari untuk pilih semua perabot, cat, curtain..etc sebab saya takde cuti.

Perkara yang harus dirancang sebaiknya:

1. Layout of the room & size - kene tau kat mana pintu & tingkap. Senang nak design the space.

2. Theme - color, hard & soft furnishing

3. Electrical point - untuk nak pasang lampu, kipas, other point for electrical appliances

4. Semua ni mesti ada bugdet yang betol. So kena la survey dulu harga barang-barang. Walaupun ada unlimited budget, mesti ada plan yang betol. Kalau tak design caca merba & takut ada pembaziran. Spent wisely OK.

Apartment sebenarnya kecik je. Ruang tamu attached sekali dengan ruang makan. 3 bilik, 2 toilet. 

Dapur cute je. Ada ruang utility untuk luandry & stor.

Living room

Saya pilih theme neutral, gabungan warna hitam & coklat. warna emas untuk highight. 

Pilihan warna yang "safe" - Senang nak mix & match

 Wall deco ni i bought from India,Hyderabad. it is actually a table cloth. Penuh dengan sulam tangan & manik-manik. Harga RM500 je beli kat sana. Sayangnye nak pakai buat alas je. So i framed it & it is perfect for the wall.  

 Candeliar - saya teringin sangat lampu yang mewah. 

So saya pilih lampu kristal yang ni untuk ruang yang sempit. 

Study room 

Bilik ni saya buat untuk adik-adik bujang saya. 

Tempah khas built-in study table for 2 attached skali dengan wardrobe. Katil single yang boleh tarik tilam kat bawah. Jimat ruang. 

Theme black & white.  

 My bedroom.

Theme: light blue. Coooolll je color ni. 

Wall deco tu beli kat India jugak. It is actually table runner, made from velvet. Cantik sangat. 

The kitchen.

Practical & simple kitchen. Kabinet dapur ni mama yang sponsor. Mama upah seorang indon buat cabinet ni. Solid wood,.. murah sgt la upahnya kalau nak bandingkan dengan quality material & workmanship. 

Berbaloi-baloi =) 

To complete the whole kitchen, saya beli set pinggan mangkuk + tea set ceramic putih. Macam kat hotel tu~

I love & enjoy this job so much

Moral of the story

Setiap cerita mesti ade pengajaran utk panduan masa hadapan. bukankah setiap yang berlaku ada hikmahnya?

Saya sangat berpuas hati dengan apartment saya ni, walaupun tak sebesar & semewah mana. Sesuailah dengan gaji saya masa tu. =)

 Lagi puas hati bila tengok mama & abah lebih selesa tinggal kat rumah tu. Surau pun dekat, abah spent his time kat sana.

 Better place for them. =) =)

 Best dapat kumpul dengan adik-adik bila sesekali balik semenanjung. Eratkan silaturahim & kukuhkan kasih sayang.

 Syukur sebab dapat bagi the best for them. 

In sha Allah, takkan surut rezeki kita kalau dengan duit tu kita bahagiakan ibu bapa & saudara kita. Allah akan kurniakan lagi banyak rezeki pada kita. Inilah masa untuk membalas jasa orang tua kita. 

And i am very glad that i made a right decision, beli rumah awal-awal dulu. Dulu harga rumah ok lagi, sekarang dah mahal sangat.

Alhamdulillah.

Kawan-kawan saya yang baru masuk kerja sekarang, ramai tak mampu nak beli rumah, sebab harga mahal sangat & takde full loan lagi dah. 

Ye ke? Saya tak pasti tentang ni. Katanya ada certain level of salary je yang boleh buat full loan. 

Kesiannya, mane nak cari duit buat deposit & bayar lawyer?

Lagi tunggu lagi naik harga rumah.

Syukur sebab dengar cakap mama abah dulu. Kalau nak ikutkan hati muda yang sedang enak menikmati duit gaji, memang saya takkan beli apartment ni. 
Kalau nak tunggu masa pergi pilih sendiri, tunggu yang berkenan di hati, tunggu lokasi yang hebat, pasti saya belom ada rumah sampai kini.
Nasib baik, saya terus rebut peluang yang ada, kerana mungkin peluang ni takkan datang sampai bila-bila.

Note: Sekarang rumah ni saya buat homestay, my parents dah berpindah balik ke Kedah.

Majlis Ulang Tahun Hai-O ke 20th

Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam

Majlis ulang tahun telah diadakan pada 24th November 2012, di Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam.

Ini adalah acara tahunan yang meraikan usahawan-usahawan yang berjaya  dinobatkan sebagai CDM (Crown Diamond Manager) pada tahun tersebut. 

Saya tak nak ketinggalan, mahu hadir bagi meraikan mentor a.k.a leader saya, Naa Kamaruddin naik pentas untuk menyambut anugerah beliau.

2 minggu sebelum majlis baru saya betul-betul confirm dapat hadir. Kelam kabut la cari baju..

Naa pesan.. "Anith, u pakai dress la.."

Uhh mana nak cari dress kat Bintulu ni..?

Pening jugak kepala nak pikir pakai apa untuk majlis tu. For sure Green Leader Group semua GLAM!

Last minute, jumpa dress yang sangat cantik, berbaloi dengan harga. Mula-mula nak beli pikir banyak kali, tapi hubby insist.. ya lah bukan selalu nak dress up kan?

Dalam kereta dapat satu order PB. =) Alhamdulillah.. rezeki di mana2.

Kitrg smpai agak awal. Nampak banyak sangat bas-bas dari utara, pantai timur & selatan. Semua pakai serba merah & hitam.. ramainya manusia.

Nak tangkap gambar dengan Hanis ni agak susah.. awal-awal saya tunggu je kat tepi. Sebab ramai sangat yang tangkap gambar dengan dia. Baru langkah setapak, orang lain dah sampai dulu. Memang macam artis terkenal. Last-last saya redah je. Dapat la jugak 2 keping gambar ni.

Mesti ambik aura Hanis.. hehe.

This is my first time meeting with other business partners from Beautiful Circle. 

Baru nak bersua muka, maklum la saya cawangan sarawak.. so susah sket nak jumpe dengan semua orang. 

This young lady, is Syera. I really admire her, sebab dia baru umur 22 tahun, tapi bercita-cita tinggi. She is super duper creative. I love her blog  at www.sherabegam.com.  

Shera came with her partners, Kak Fiza. Terkejut bila dapat tau kak Fiza dah ade anak tiga. OMG.. she so slim & pretty. Ingatkan anak dara.. =)

1st time jumpa, diorang sangat la peramah. Rasa macam dah kenal lama. TQ Shera & Kak Fiza.

Before this kenal through FB je. In person, she is prettier & dah la tinggi.

Assalamualaikum

Sekian lama tak update blog ni. Sebulan takde post baru.

Maaf ye..

November adalah bulan paling genting. 

Banyak perkara besar berlaku.. life change, carrer change, pindah rumah, status berubah..

Alhamdullillah.. keadaan semakin stabil sekarang. 

Baru established new routine.

And now I'm back to business, with full energy & spirit.
