Visiting Korean Traditional House

3rd day in Seoul
Yellow day!!

Our 1st destination was Namsangol Hanok Village

Group photo at the front of main gate.

Dekat gate nak masuk salah sebuah hanok.

Some of the hanok having a stepping stones on the courtyard - these stones is to train the their boys to walk properly. FYI, cara berjalan orang kaya harus berbeza dr orang kebanyakkan- langkahnya mesti lebih besar..
Kelakar kan? ktorg gelak-gelak bila Ms Lucy cerita & tunjuk demo.

Ms. Lucy cakap, tembok ni memang dibina supaya tak tinggi supaya senang jiran sebelah sana boleh tolong tengok-tengokkan rumah & behaviour anak-anak jiran sebelah sini. =) hehe.. Tu zaman dulu, zaman sekarang kalau kita tegur anak jiran, jiran cakap kita "MENYIBUK JE ORANG SEBELAH NI". =P

Otw nak keluar dari hanok tadi, saya terdengar bunyi ketuk-ketuk kat hanok sebelah, dengan rasa curiousnya, saya pun masuk (taktau la sebenarnya boleh masuk ke tak) bunyi ketuk tadi rupanya makcik-makcik ni yang buat. (Achuma- panggilan utk makcik2 korea)
Saya pelik tengok diorg buat apa, nak kata tumbuk beras tak jugak.  Rupanya achuma ni tgh "iron" baju.  There is a rock slab they put the cloth on it and they beat it with wooden pegs to beat out the wrinkles. =) Interesting right??

Sambil mengayam tikar & bakul, sambil bagi makan kat burung. Burung tu sgt jinak, duduk je kat kaki orang tu.

With ms. Lucy, our tour guide yang sangat sporting & knowledgable. Banyak dia cerita pasal economic, custom, lifestyle orang korea.

Hubby got to tried some of korean traditional games

Ni semua idea Marlinda, ajak ktorg buat yoga tengah hari panas kat sini.. hehe
Sengal!!  hehehe

Its time to go to the next destination.

Saya yang kurang tengok cerita korea pun dah teruja sgt. Best sangat dapat tahu adat & budaya kaum lain bila kita berpeluang melancong di negara diorg. It makes my trip more interesting.  Lebih bermakna..

Jumpa lagi nanti atas kapal pulak.. stay tune..-->

Holiday Trip To Korea - Day 1

I was so excited for my very first FOC trip with GLAM.
Sampai KLIA around 8 pm on 16th Sept - ratusan Glampreneurs dah sampai, all wearing our official #Glamjourneys T-Shirt with Green pants. Weee...

Done with the group checked in, then we proceed to the gate for departure to Seoul Korea.
Our midnight flight - Korean Air, took about 6 hours to reach Incheon Airport, Seoul.
So bermalam atas flight la kitrg. Unfortunately i cant sleep at all =(.. taktau la kenapa, so layan movie korea sepanjang flight.

After 6 hours journey, we were safely landed in Seoul.

Masing-masing excited nak start makan angin kat Seoul.
We work hard, we play hard too.

Masa ni perut dah lapar. Our tour guide agent dah plan everything for us perfectly. Now they take us for brunch at Halal restaurant at Iteawon street.

South gate of Korea kat tengah-tengah bandar
On the way ke Iteawon - cuci mata tengok Seoul City. One words i can describe.. teratur!

 Dah sampai area Itaewon,
Contohnya macam kat area ni, along the street ni boleh nampak kedai-kedai perabut antik & home deco. Jalan lain pulak ada kedai-kedai jual lampu je sepanjang jalan. Sangat teratur. So senang la orang yang nak shopping & survey barang-barang tu kan?

Itaewon typically refers to the street full of stores, restaurants, and stalls over 1.4 kilometers between Itaewon 1-dong and Hannam 2-dong in the east. Fashion shops specialize in various imported clothes, leather goods, fur goods, handbags, shoes, and antique furniture. Big and tall sizes unavailable in other areas are well-stocked, and experienced tailors offer customized clothes.

Another one of Itaewon’s many draws is its diverse food culture, which features cuisine from around world. Restaurants right behind Hamilton Hotel form a type of exhibition hall for international foods from Korea, New York, London, India, Thailand, China, Greece, Pakistan, Italy, France, Mexico, Australia, and more. Unique flavors, exotic interiors, and diverse nationalities help to make Itaewon befittingly ‘the global village in Seoul.’

Semua dah kenyang, energy dah recharged. Next kitrg pegi shopping pulak kat area Dongdaemun, Doota Shopping Mall.
Doota shopping mall ni banyak fashion store korean brand yang cantik-cantik, trendy & good quality. International brand pun ada, but we prefer to shop korean brand instead. Made in Korea.
So choose wisely. =)

Geram tengok barang-barang kat sini especially bahagian kanak-kanak. Different level, selling different stuff. My hubby berkenan sangat dengan kasut budak yang ni. Diperbuat dari kulit lembu, hand made lagi- of course made in Korea. =)

Penat tawaf shopping mall ni, kaki dah lenguh, badan pun dah sangat penat sebab tak tidur malam tadi.
Its time to rest in the hotel - "Best Western Premier KUKDO Hotel"
Our hotel location was not too far from Dongdaemun.

Alhamdulillah semua urusan checked in kat hotel dipermudahkan. Semua travel agent yang uruskan. Ni yang best kalau pegi tour in group, tak payah susah2 buat sendiri. Everything was taken care.
Bilik pun besar, cukup selesa. Tak sempat amek gambar bilik dah terlelap sebab terlalu penat. =p

Next agenda was Grand Gala Dinner at Best Western Seoul Garden Hotel Ballroom.

All dress in red & black
berbaju melayu lengkap bersampin
Berbaju kurung kebaya
sambut hari raya di bumi korea.

Beautiful faces of Beautiful Circle group.

The place was nice & luxury,
The food was great - semua makanan adalah halal, dimasak special untuk kitrg. I am so blessed!
Banyak sungguh variety makanan, western food ade, nasi goreng pun ada, dessert yang sedap2, sushi macam-macam jenis. Makan sampai puas!

Layankan ajee...
Not just 1 group preformed, ada lagi 2 group lain - 1 of them was a girl KPOP stars. Bikin panasss satu dewan dengan lengok tarian diorg. =p

My hubby was announced as one of the lucky draw winners. Lucky ke tak lucky taktau la, sebab kena menari Gangnam style atas stage dulu baru dapat hadiah. hahaha..
"tak pasal-pasal I kene menari Gangnam pakai sampin kat seoul ni"

We had soooo much fun that night!
Rasa masih tak percaya dapat jejak kaki ke Seoul dengan this amazing team - Beautiful Circle under Glam.
