Eat healthy for our family




Saya masih ingat pesan mama,
Saya sentiasa ingat pesan tu setiap kali nak masak.
Mama pesan "Basuh dulu sayur-sayur tu sebelum masak. Cuci bersih bersih, selak daun-daun tu, biaq lama sikit basuh takpa. "

Mama pun tak pernah lupa nak basuh ikan & ayam yang baru sampai dari pasar borong (mama panggil market borong) dengan satu pencusi khas, sejenis liquid dari jemana XXXXXX.
"Pakai ni untuk cuci ikan ayam," -sambil tunjuk botol kecil tu.
"Habeh keluaq hanyaq2 (hanyir) ikan ni.."
Kak long beli satu simpan kat rumah.."

Dah bertahun mama pakai liquid cleanser tu.
Seingat saya mama tak pakai pun pencuci tu masa saya kecik-kecik dulu.
Semua ni berubah bila arwah maksu pesan kat mama masa dia tengah sakit tenat.

Arwah maksu meninggal beberapa tahun dulu, satu-satunya adik perempuan abah.
Maksu menderita sakit beberapa tahun. Saya kurang ingat keseluruhan cerita, tapi yang saya tahu maksu menderita sakit leukaemia. Abah pernah dermakan air sum sum tulang belakang untuk maksu pulih. Saya masih bersekolah masa tu.

Saya masih ingat,
Kami & keluarga maksu sangat rapat. Tiap kali maksu balik kedah mesti bermalam di rumah kami sehari dua. Saya sgt sedih bila maksu sakit, tengok arwah terlantar di katil, tak berdaya.. buat hati saya pedih. Maksu meninggal di usia yang muda, tinggalkan empat orang anak yang masih kecil masa tu. Abah sangat sedih, lagi sedih adalah arwah tok bila terpaksa tengok anak tunggal perempuan pergi lebih awal dari dia.

Saya masih ingat,
Ketika arwah maksu sedang sakit tak bermaya, kami sekeluarga ke KL menziarahi arwah. Dia bagitau pada mama & abah, doctor cakap punca sakit dia dari makanan. 
Doktor minta cuci bahan makan bersih-bersih, terutama sayur & buah. 
Sejak hari tu, mama amalkan pesanan arwah maksu.

Dan selama tu la jugak mama tak henti-henti pesan kat anak-anak perempuan dia (termasuk la menantu) supaya basuh bersih-bersih sebelum masak.

Saya ada beli satu botol jenama yang mama syor, tapi yang tinggal cuma jenis powder.
Masalah dengan powder ni, bila terkena air, serbuk tadi bergumpal, melekit dan tak susah nak guna. Terpaksa buka penutup botol & colek dengan hujung sudu yang runcing. Leceh.. !
Jarang-jarang saya pakai..
Lagi pulak, saya rasa kurang hygenic pulak cara tu.

Sekarang ni bila saya kenal & pakai Biozone. Saya memang teringat kat mama.
Kalau la mama pakai biozone ni.. mesti dia lagi impress.
Lagi banyak hanyir yang keluar dari ikan, udang, sotong..
Lagi segar sayur-sayur yang dah dicuci dengan Biozone.
Mesti ternganga mama tengok buih-buih yang keluar dari mangkuk tu. Kotor & busuk!



Dan yang paling penting biozone tak pakai chemical (liquid or powder)

Fikir-fikirkan..

Berapa orang dari kita yang tak basuh pun sayur-sayur sebelum masak, ambil dari peti ais, terus potong-potong dan campak dalam kuali - Sebab nak cepat & anggap remeh. 
Siapa yang di antara kita fikir selama ni basuh pakai air pipe dah cukup bersih. Basuh la berapa lama sekali pun, bahan - bahan yang berbahaya tadi tidak akan terhapus.

Ada orang fikir, "Alah.. dah bertahun-tahun dari nenek moyang kita makan tak basuh pakai biozone pun, sihat je.
Zaman dah berubah, Teknology dah bertambah.
Zaman dulu sumber makanan tanam sendiri.
Ayam, itik, kambing bela sendiri, ikan pancing & menjala sendiri. 
Tengok la macam mana air sungai & laut dulu & sekarang.
Zaman sekarang, semua nak cepat,semua nak "Fast Food"
Makanan dah jadi satu industry yang besar & high demand.
Sayur-sayuran & buah- buahan tanam & matang dah tak ikut musim, jangan ada yang lubang-lubang dimakan ulat. 
Ayam lembu, kambung mesti jadi gemuk & sihat, 
Ikan, sotong, udang diperap supaya segar tahan lama.





As an individu, we cant stop what happened in the industry immediately, 
but we can choose what we eat & consume by our own body.


World have changed.. It is time for us to change too!

Girl's dream




All girls dream to be slim & beautiful 
Memang dah lumrah seorang perempuan

Kalaulah dapat makan sebanyak mungkin, 
apa sahaja yang terasa ditekak, 
tanpa perlu kira kalori setiap suapan,
tanpa risau lemak-lemak yang menyeliputi badan, 
tanpa takut jarum penimbang berat badan bergerak ke kanan
hoho.. 
Alangkah bagusnya. Alangkah bahagianya hidup, Alangkah gembiranya hati. 

Betol tak?

"aku tak makan banyak pun, makan sekadar utk kenyang, .. tapi berat badan tak pernah turun.
kalau lebih makan sedikit cepat sangat naik".

Tak adilkan?

Memang pun! Sungguh tak adil. 
Sebab semakin kita dimakan usia, semakin slow metabolism rate. 

"ohh..  aku perlu bersenam!"

Saya tak sangkal kepentingan bersenam, 
pergi la berjogging petang2 di taman, keluarlah beriadah bersama rakan, panjat turun tangga atau senaman-senaman mudah di rumah.
atau laburkan duit utk membeli alat senaman yang beribu2..
 Ya.. itu hak kamu!

tapi fikirkan..
adakah kamu cukup waktu
mahu keluar beriadah
mahupun mulakan senaman mudah?

Women & menstrual problem


Masalah berkaitan haid (period) sangat common dikalangan wanita.
Baik remaja ataupun dewasa. 

Masa di sekolah asrama dulu 
saya selalu tengok 2-3 orang rakan saya terguling-guling atas katil sebab sakit perut 
gara-gara period pain. 

Bila dah start kerja, saya kenal beberapa orang yang period cycle tak tetap. 
Kadang-kadang datang, 
kadang-kadang sampai 2-3 bulan tak ada period. 
Ada beberapa orang kenalan saya yang period 
sampai berminggu-minggu tak berhenti. 

Sekarang baru saya tahu
